This origami okra flower simulates the real okra flower shown below:

This origami okra flower starts from a regular pentagon. One special folding technique involved with this model is inside reverse-fold.

You may use any kind of paper to fold the origami okra flower.

Make sure the paper that you use is a square (all sides are equal and all the angles equal 90 degrees). In this example, I tried with a paper with 14cm x 14cm size.

We are using a paper with the same color for both the front and back sides.

There is an instruction to teach how to make a regular pentagon out of a square paper.

 

You can easily get a regular pentagon from the instruction.
