This page is for those who want the instruction to make an origami iris flower.

This origami iris flower simulates the real iris flower. One interesting feature of the origami iris flower is it starts from an equilateral triangle instead of a square paper.

If you are ready, then let's get started.

If you find any bugs on this instruction, please send an email to HyoAhn's email.

You may use any kind of paper to fold this origami iris flower. Here I am using the same color paper for both the front and the back sides. But you could use one side color only paper without any problem. Make sure the paper that you use is a square (all sides are equal and all the angles equal 90 degrees). The paper I am using here is 15cm x 15cm square one.

There is an instruction to learn how to make an equilateral triangle out of a square paper.

You can easily get an equilateral triangle from the instruction.
