This page is for those who want the instructions to fold a Triple Leaf.  This is three leaves with petiole that you need when you put a stem to your rose. It is somewhat complex and it might be extremly difficult for you to fold if you are a beginner in folding.

You may use any kind of paper to fold this base (*it is easier if the front and the back side of the paper are slightly different whether it be in texture or color).

Make sure the paper that you use is a square (all sides are equal and all the angles equal 90 degrees). The paper I am using here is 15cm x 15cm square one.

candlestick base A

If the paper dimension of the rose is 1 x 1, then the dimension of the triple leaf should be 3/4 x 3/4.

If you are using 20cm x 20cm paper for your rose, then the paper for the triple leaf should be a 15cm x 15cm one.

candlestick base C

<what the back side of the paper we will be using in these instructions looks like>

Here the front and back sides share the same color and texture.

1. Wandering

Moderately fast

Wandering is the miller's joy,
Wandering!
He must be a miserable miller,
Who never likes to wander.
Wandering!

We've learned this from the water,
From the water!
It does not rest by day or night,
It's always thinking of its journey,
The water.

We see this also with the wheels,
With the wheels!
They don't like to stand still,
And go all day without tiring.
The wheels.

The stones themselves, heavy though they are,
The stones!
They join in the cheerful dance,
And want to go yet faster.
The stones!

Oh, wandering, wandering, my joy,
Oh, wandering!
Oh, Master and Mistress,
Let me continue in peace,
And wander!
